The European Poker Tour will be hitting the slopes at Saalbach-Hinterglemm from March 21st to 26th; the resort isn’t a stranger to world class sport as it hosted the Alpine Ski World Championships in 1991. PokerStars players from the Nordic and Baltic countries are invited now to take part in freeroll and low buy-in tournaments that can get you skiing, snowboarding, and playing poker in the experience of a lifetime.
You can find Satellite Qualifiers for the EPT Snowfest expedition running every day at PokerStars. There’s a freeroll Nordic Snowfest Expedition $1,000 poker freeroll running at 21:10 CET, and at the same time there’s the Nordic Snowfest Expedition $20 + $2. Each of these tournaments will see the top 3 finishers go through to the Nordic Snowfest Expedition Weekly Final. There is also a $2.20 buy-in satellite qualifier to be held each day at 21:40 CET from which the top 4 seats will go through to the weekly final. Both of the buy-in satellite qualifier tournaments will also have regular prize pools. The weekly final will be held on March 12th and the winner will receive an EPT Snowfest package. The package includes the buy in to the European Poker Tour Snowfest main event, accommodation, equipment rental for the slopes, a lift pass, and money for expenses. The weekly final also features a $1,000 prize pool.
