The PartyPoker WSOP for Life promotion is proving to be an unprecedented success; see how you could still win a seat at every WSOP for the next 20 years!
You don’t always need a poker forum to tell you that a particular promotion is going to be a huge success – for example, providing players with entry to the WSOP for the rest of their lives, is sure to be a winner. That being said, it’s difficult to know if anyone could have predicted the sheer numbers that have already participated in the PartyPoker WSOP for Life promotion.
The PartyPoker WSOP for Life promotion does essentially what it says it will – it provides winners with entry into the WSOP Main Event for the next 20 years. It’s no surprise therefore that the online poker community has jumped into action to win this prize; within the first week of the promotion running more than 81,000 members of the poker site took part in qualifiers in order to be in the running for this amazing prize which not only includes those 20 years of buy-ins but also includes a full travel and accommodation package for the 2010 event.
The means of winning one of these packages is diverse. There are leaderboard challenge opportunities for players according to their points levels, and these races will be running through till June 20th. The winners of the races will receive the WSOP for Life package but there are also cash prizes as well as 2010 WSOP Prizes to be won. For those who are less interested in the leaderboard and prefer straight up tournament competition there is a prize tournament to be held on June 20th from which the first place winner will receive one of those packages. The June 20th tournament can be entered through direct buy-in or through qualifying from free poker tournaments or low buy-in tournaments, or through STT Jackpot.
This is probably the most exciting promotion being run by any online poker sites, and thus it should come as no surprise that the heat is on, the poker forums are chattering, and excitement is high. A PartyPoker spokesperson commented:
“WSOP fever is here! There were over 81,000 entries into qualifiers during the first week of WSOP For Life. The regular and VIP leaderboard races are already being tightly fought. The pacesetters amongst the main leaderboard race appear to be Heino74, killedyouu and NeX111, while in the Palladium Lounge VIP challenge the early lead goes to TERMiNATOR1, closely followed by x_AK_47_x in a very open race with everything to play for.”
